L’hiver de l’amour – a proposition in 1994 Paris
that which happens now – which is not to be imagined, but grabbed, recalled – ways of being, a season, all the transformative hours as moment
how to cross winter – before the great polystyrene cold of the Fin de siècle – the more we condemn the now the more we must be in love with it
the affirmative capitalism big love moment about more, more networks, more materials, more knowledge, more bodies – yet the past two decades – precariousness readmitting significance to affective, emotional, labor – with little escapism
I could relate to the fluidities of early modernist bohemian worlds – as well as in the hippie community worlds – where you had a blanket that was a coat that could go anywhere with you – till it fell apart
the zenith in the career of a garter is generally in the loosening – not the fastening of it
to thaw the love frozen over – less romance of companionship – more a fear of its loss
to become more transparent – to reduce the elements and to go in the direction of doing things slowly – to have more moments when nothing is happening – if the mention is that of a climate and thus of a perceptible sensibility, surely our style must be thought of as a possibility – that which might happen, then, afterwards
